LA YUF aims to write about any subject with originality and sensitivity. Moving between acoustic textures and electro-rock, with a voice that can be melancholic or more forceful, his songs are marked by a deeply sincere and authentic approach.

Like a cat about to cross the city unseen, Jérôme, aka LA YUF, began by choosing not to put himself forward. For those who still need a face, there remains the photograph of a young boy.

Writing remains a personal path for him, with no greater ambition than trying to move towards something beautiful - first for himself, and then for others through the simple pleasure of sharing. His music will especially speak to listeners looking for both meaning and melody in French rock chanson.

His first self-produced EP, "La Méridienne", driven by a DIY energy matched only by his bittersweet writing, impressed The Queen Is Dead Records enough for them to produce the second EP together. "Le Secret", released under the The Queen Is Dead Records banner, came out on May 7, 2024.

Building on the momentum of this second release, LA YUF worked throughout 2025 with local partners from the Auvergne region on new recordings, while also putting together a new live line-up capable of bringing his music to the stage, thereby reconsidering his earlier decision not to appear publicly himself.
